Patient Participation Group

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is open to all patients at the Rycote Practice who are over 16 years of age. As a patient of the Rycote Practice you are automatically a member of the Rycote PPG whilst you remain a patient with the practice. A small selection of the PPG forms a committee who meet on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer, and how improvements can benefit patients and the practice. The NHS requires every practice to have a PPG, and your PPG meets regularly with the manager and other members of staff at the practice.

As well as the PPG committee, we are currently in the process of forming a Patient Participation Consultation Group, who do not attend meetings but who are willing to give feedback and complete patient surveys from time to time. Thus, helping us to inform the surgery of potential future health service provision requirements, improve patient experience and promote better health lifestyle choices and education.

We are looking for a diverse group of patients/carers who use the services of the Rycote Practice to join both our Patient Participation Consultation Group, and our PPG committee who meet on average six times a year. If you would like to join either our committee or become a member of our consultation group, please get in contact via one of the following methods:-

Email : [email protected]

Post to : PPG Committee, C/O Rycote Practice, Thame Health Centre, East Street, Thame, OX9 3JZ

Communication box: Leave a message in our communication box in the patient waiting area at the surgery.

Please note the Patient Participation Group (PPG) does not deal with patient matters that are of a clinical nature. However, we are interested in your views on healthcare provision at the Rycote Surgery.

Your PPG Committee are:
