Book an Appointment

The easiest way to book an appointment with us is via online services such as the NHS App or Patient Access (see links below).

If you would prefer to contact us via telephone, please call our reception team appointments booking line on 01844 261066.

Patient Access

It is easier and quicker to manage appointments and request repeat prescriptions via our online service. Simply log in and select an option. Please ensure you have your letter from the Practice before registering with Patient Access.

NHS App

Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online, including appointments, prescriptions and health record.

Can another Healthcare Professional help?

Sometimes the GP is not the most appropriate Healthcare Professional to deal with your ailment. Please see the information on see a Doctor or Healthcare Professional, which might help you decide whether a GP appointment is truly necessary or whether it might be better for you to see a Pharmacist, Optician, Dentist or other Healthcare Professional. You can even self-refer for some services without seeing your GP.

  • Please make one appointment for each member of the family who needs to be seen
  • We try to keep to time but please be patient if someone before you takes longer than planned
  • Occasionally we may also require to do emergency home visits, which may cause a further wait. When this happens we ensure that all other GPs are aware and you might be seen by another doctor to avoid your appointment being delayed further. Even then it is possible that significant delays can occur and we will do our best to inform you so that you have the option to rebook if you wish We would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding if this happens.
  • Please be assured that we do our very best to run to time but we also try and balance this against giving a high standard of personalised care.
  • Appointments are normally ten minute slots, so if you have a complicated problem, or more than one problem, please ask for a double appointment
  • It is Practice Policy to allow patients to choose whichever Doctor they wish to attend in the Practice

Please help us

If you are not able to attend your appointment please let us know in time so that the time can be used for someone else. If you are more than 15 minutes late for an appointment you may be asked to re-book.The more notice that you can give us the more chance that we have or re-using the appointment. Even if you are stuck in traffic and decide that you cannot make it, please let us know as it means that the GP or nurse does not delay their surgery waiting for you to arrive. You can also cancel your appointment by replying ‘Cancel’ to your appointment text reminder. Please ensure you type Cancel only and no further text.
