Our phone lines can become very busy at certain times of the day, particularly first thing in the morning and after lunch. Please try and avoid these times to reduce queues or consider alternative ways of contacting the practice. We strongly recommend that you use online access to book or cancel appointments, order prescriptions, check test results and view your medical record. If you are not yet signed up please download the application form here. If you have a non-urgent query why not try our eConsult service. This offers self-help advice as well as the ability to consult with your GP. If you submit your request/query by midnight we will respond by the end of the next working day.

eConsultation

All electronic queries relating to your care should be dealt with by sending an eConsultation rather than an email. This will ensure that they are responded to quickly by the most appropriate person. All eConsultaitons receive a response by the end of the next working day.

If you need advice for a specific medical condition, please follow the link and click I want help for my condition – this offers some online advice and provides the opportunity to submit an eConsultation to your GP.  If you need some administrative assistance (e.g. queries about your appointments, ongoing referrals, current treatment plan, medication issues*, recent test results** or other administrative questions) you should go to I want administrative help. You can also use this option to request sick notes, GP letters and the completion of medical reports.

* If you need to check what medication you are on or wish to ask for a one off medication to be added to your repeat medication list please do this via your Online Access. If you do not yet have online access you can download an application form. Please use eConsult when you need assistance that is not available via Online Access – e.g. you are feeling unwell as a result of new medication.

** If you simply want to know the results of a recent test please do this via your Online Access. You can see all your results and any comment that your GP has made. If you do not yet have online access you can download an application form. Please use eConsult when you have a specific question about your results.
