information on The Rycote Practice vaccination ('flu jab) plan.
Swine Flu Vaccinations are now becoming available throughout the UK.
Currently we are due to receive our next batch of 500 doses in the new
year, with more to follow after this.
We will prioritise the delivery of the vaccination in the order that has
been recommended by the Department of Health. This is based on data
showing who is at the highest risk of serious illness from Swine Flu.
The priority will be:
1. Individuals aged six months and up to 65 years who are also eligible
for an NHS seasonal 'flu jab
2. Pregnant women
3. Household contacts of immuno-compromised individuals
4. People aged 65 and over in the current seasonal flu vaccine clinical
at risk groups
5. Children aged six months to 5 years old
