The Travel Clinic is run by our nursing team.
In order to give you flexibility, we do not run a set clinic. Please
note that we need sufficient notice to arrange your immunisations and we
cannot be held responsible for problems or difficulties arising from
late bookings.
Depending on your individual requirements, you may need immunisations up
to 6 months in advance of travel (for example hepatitis B).
For most routine travel we need you to tell us at least 6 weeks
before the travel date.
We request you fill in a travel form available below. It can also be
collected from reception. This helps us tailor your individual
requirements and perform a proper risk assessment based on the latest
NHS advice.
Once we have received your form we will contact you to arrange an
appointment.
We need a current daytime contact number for this.
Please note that many immunisations for travel are not covered by the
NHS and will be charged for. Malaria tablets are also given as a private
prescription.

Yellow Fever Immunisations
The Rycote Practice is an approved Yellow Fever Centre. We offer this to
our registered patients and also to patients registered with a GP
elsewhere.
If you are not registered at The Rycote Practice we need a separate form
completed and signed when you come for your appointment. This can be
downloaded
here or picked up from our reception desk on arrival.
You must then book a private appointment with one of our nursing team.
Yellow fever certificates are issued upon receipt of payment. Yellow
fever exemption certificates are also available at the practice
(chargeable).
BCG Immunisation
Please note we do not offer BCG immunisation at this practice.
