If you are worried about your hearing or the hearing of your child, book
an appointment with a GP or one of the nurses.
We are able to offer audiometry in the surgery for those assessed as
requiring it.
Many people suffer with wax blocking their ears. Remember that wax is
normal and helps protect the ear.
Do not use cotton buds to
clean your ears. If you feel your ears are blocked with wax,
please try using olive oil or a product from the chemist for at least 2
weeks before coming to the surgery. See our self-help section for
information on how to do this.
We offer a syringing service, although in general it is not recommended,
and we will always request you soften the wax for 2 weeks using olive
oil or another product first.
