THE RYCOTE PRACTICE - AN NHS ORGANISATION
CHILDHOOD IMMUNISATIONS

Childhood immunisations are a very important part of protecting your child against serious illness.

The Rycote Practice can provide all the immunisations currently recommended by the Department of Health (except HPV vaccination for teenage girls).

The first immunisations are given 8 weeks after birth, however premature or late your child was born. Invitations are sent out from the Child Health Service in Aylesbury. However before the first immunisation your child should be registered with the Practice and have an 8 week check-up with a GP. This can be done on the same day as the first set of immunisations.

The clinic runs from 2-4pm on Tuesdays. If you cannot attend on the date you have been allocated, you can still attend on another Tuesday clinic - just phone us to arrange this.

Pre-school immunisation reminders are sent out by the Practice. If you are unable to attend please contact the surgery.

Click here for a full schedule of immunisations.

If you have any questions about immunisation please contact Kathy Gould at the practice.
