Caring for loved ones at home can be rewarding, but it can also be
exhausting.
Physically, emotionally and financially, carers often place their needs
second to those they care for.
We recognise how difficult it can be to recognise the strain and
pressure you can be under as a carer, and also the feeling that
sometimes no-one is out there to help.
The Rycote Practice has a strong commitment to helping people in our
community manage both their own illness and the illnesses of their
family.
If you are a carer and you want to discuss any problems you are having,
we are here to help. Even if you are not registered with us but the
person you care for is, or vice versa, we will try and provide the
support and guidance you need. A copy of our poster is available
here.
There are several UK support groups available on-line too. Examples
include
